Erin K. Barta (Moderator)
Erin K. Barta joined Mannatech, Incorporated November 2006 and was named General Counsel in August 2013. Prior to joining Mannatech, Ms. Barta served as Corporate Counsel and later Senior Corporate Counsel from November 2001 to November 2006 for Metromedia Restaurant Group, a subsidiary of Metromedia Company. She received her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review.
Jane McBride (Panelist)
Jane Mallor McBride is the Principal and General Counsel of Optimus Legal Management and Consulting, providing innovative and customized consulting, coaching and placement solutions to legal departments, individual attorneys and law firms. In addition to being a founding member of Women's In House Network, Jane currently serves as Immediate Past Chair of the Corporate Counsel Section of the Texas State Bar and is active in the National Association of Women Lawyers. She has been honored for her service to both NAWL and the DFW Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Jane received her JD from NYU School of Law, and is a member of the State Bars of Texas, California and NY. She is a frequent speaker and has been published in several legal publications.
Kelly Noblin (Panelist)
Kelly graduated from SMU School of Law in 1992, where she was a member of Order of the Coif, the Southwestern Law Journal, and the Barristers. She received her undergraduate degree in accounting from SMU. Kelly practiced litigation with Andrews Kurth and later with a smaller boutique where she was active in lateral hiring. In 1998 Kelly returned to SMU Law School to serve as Assistant Dean of Career Services. For several years, she counseled students and alumni regarding career development and helped law firms and corporations achieve their student recruitment and lateral hiring goals.In 2004 Kelly opened the Dallas office of Major, Lindsey & Africa and was promoted to Texas in-house practice leader before forming Newhouse + Noblin in 2007. She has been quoted in the Dallas Morning News and published in the Texas Lawyer regarding legal employment and recruiting trends. Kelly's extensive network and knowledge of legal hiring has led to thriving law firm and in-house recruiting practices. She has served as a trusted advisor to countless candidates, corporations, and law firms.
Sheridan Peixoto (Panelist)
Sheridan Peixoto is a Talent Acquisition Manager at Nationstar Mortgage. In 2009, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Sheridan joined Nationstar in 2014 as a Senior Recruiter and quickly earned a promotion to Manager responsible for leading a team supporting the recruiting efforts for Finance & Accounting, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Legal. In her role at Nationstar, Sheridan develops the recruiting strategy, advises leaders on market trends, and is an active partner working to find the right people to achieve staffing goals.
