About WIN
Women's In-House Network is a a peer-to-peer organization of some of the best in-house attorneys in the DFW area. We don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach; we realize that in-house attorneys who are women face a particular set of opportunities and challenges. WIN exists to help you leverage these opportunities and overcome those challenges.

There are lots of different ways to be involved in WIN-- we meet, physically or virtually, 4-6 times per year with a focus on getting to know one another and sharing ideas. Many of these meetings provide CLE credit, with information tailored to our specific needs as in-house attorneys.
Our Mission
WIN is dedicated to facilitating a supportive and safe environment for professional and personal development through the sharing of ideas and best practices and the fostering of relationships among its members. WIN provides a forum for its members to meet and get to know one another. WIN promotes, celebrates and furthers the achievements of its members.
Our History
Women's In-House Network was founded in 2009 by a group of in-house women General Counsel from private and public companies.
Founder Jane McBride realized that while there were national organizations for women lawyers, they were missing a crucial element: none provided the local impact and networking that people really wanted.

So Jane and the other founding members came together and identified a set of principles for what this organization should be.
​
It had to be easy-- with accessible networking and learning opportunities. It had to be local-- focused mainly on the DFW area. And most importantly, it had to be sustainable-- with a goal of building lasting friendships and business relationships.
The result was Women's In-House Network. Over 85 lawyers attended the first Women's In-House Network lunch, formulating WIN's mission statement and structure through group discussions. WIN's Board and membership continues to grow, and its programs continuously evolve to better serve WIN Members.
